- January 2021: HNE supports the Massachusetts Association of Health Plans’ (MAHP) Racial Disparities Workgroup to study the impact of telehealth on communities most affected by COVID-19 and the digital divide.
- February 2021: Ashley Bogle, Health New England’s Director of Legal Services and Assistant General Counsel, is appointed to the City of Springfield’s Vax Force.
- March 2021: Health New England released a statement on Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) violence and made financial contributions to AAPI healthcare organizations.
- April 2021: City of Springfield Vax Force held an Interfaith Vaccination Event that enabled 250 community members to receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
- May 2021: Ebony.com publishes “Black Women-Led Vax Force Tackles Racial Disparities Exposed by COVID-19” highlighting the City of Springfield’s Vax Force’s efforts to increase vaccine confidence featuring the work of Health New England leader Ashley Bogle.
