Worcester County Merged Market Plan Update: After careful consideration, Health New England has made the difficult decision to no longer offer health insurance plans for individuals and organizations with 50 or fewer full-time equivalent employees in Worcester County. This applies to plans that renew on or after October 1, 2023. We will continue to serve large employer groups and organizations in Worcester County and individuals, small groups and large groups in Hampden, Hampshire, Franklin, and Berkshire Counties. Health New England is notifying affected employers and members by mail during the week of July 3 and will follow-up with additional communications.

Health New England is following the guidance detailed in EOHHS' Accountable Care Organization's All Provider Bulletin 363.
Reminder: Providers should check MassHealth's Eligibility Verification System (EVS) to understand the Member's assigned plan.
