Health New England (HNE), along with the five other health plans that provide health insurance for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Group Insurance Commission (GIC), continues to work collaboratively with the GIC, Mercer Human Resource Consulting and Resolution Health Inc. on each iteration of the Clinical Performance Improvement (CPI) Initiative. The GIC and health plans have responded to many individual and collective provider concerns about the CPI Initiative to make the process easier to understand, more consistent among the health plans and, most importantly, more transparent.
