Thank You for Your Membership

As a new member, we understand you may have questions. Whether you’re looking for information about how your coverage works, looking for a doctor in our network or dealing with an ongoing health condition, we are here to help.

What Should I Do Next?

At Health New England, your health is our number one priority. We recommend all new members take the following steps to ensure there are no gaps in your coverage:

  1. Create an account on the Health New England Member Portal. Whether you’re looking for details about your benefits, reviewing medical claims and family deductibles, or updating your address, our Member Portal can make it easy to manage your health care. (Be sure to register on or after your plan effective date.)

  2. Choose a primary care provider (PCP) in your network. It’s important to have a PCP who will be your partner in health. Use our provider search tool to find an in-network physician, specialist, hospital or pharmacy. Then, simply log into the Member Portal or call Member Services at (413) 787-4004 or (800) 310-2835 (TTY: 711) to select or change your PCP.

  3. Give your existing providers your new insurance information. Avoid billing issues by letting providers know that you’ve switched to Health New England by showing them your new Health New England member ID card.
